- Below is a brief description of how the phone consultation system works.

- The consulter first calls MIEF.
- MIEF receives the call and hears out the consulter.
- MIEF contacts a counselor who is conversant with the consulter’s language of comfort.
- The counselor directly contacts the consulter.
- In case there is need for a meeting, the counselor and consulter agree on a particular meeting date and time. MIEF’s office is the counselling location.
