Foreign Residents Advisory Program

As of December 31, 2010, there were 46,817 foreigners from 99 different countries living in Mie. Everyday, MIEF receives counsulations from many of these people. In order to help as many people as possible, the Foreign Residents Advisory Program was established. Through this program, MIEF holds information and consultation sessions all over Mie with the goal of helping foreign residents understand Japanese rules and regulations. All sessions have translators on site.

★Some of the benefits of our information sessions

With the help of experts in governmental and civilian affairs, and translators from MIEF’s Translation Partners, we explain, in simple terms, even the most difficult topics.

We provide reference materials in a variety of languages at these information sessions to help you understand the information presented.
