There are quite a number of non-Japanese residents in Mie who not only find it difficult to communicate in Japanese, but also experience difficulty when conducting their day-to-day activities due to the difference in culture and what is considered as normal practice. Due to this and other reasons, most non-Japanese residents end up not getting information that is vital to them as Mie residents. This is what led to the starting of our English and Portuguese-language conducted radio program, Info Mie. Through the program, we hope to create an environment that is comfortable for non-Japanese residents to live in. You are welcome to call or write to us with questions, comments and requests.
